Common questions
How much does NextCampus Global charge for its services?
Your first counselling session is completely free with no obligation, and for most of our partner universities the application processing itself carries no service charge, as we are compensated by the institutions. Where fees apply — for example, certain visa services or non-partner applications — we share a written, itemised quotation before any work begins, with no hidden costs later.
How long does the whole process take, from first visit to flying?
Plan for six to twelve months depending on the destination. English testing and university applications typically take two to four months, offers another one to two, and visa processing three weeks to three months by country. Starting a year before your target intake gives you the best universities, scholarships and stress-free timelines.
Which countries do you process applications for?
We currently support ten destinations: the United Kingdom, USA, Canada, Australia, Denmark, Finland, Belgium, Poland, China and Malaysia. Our counsellors will compare these against your budget, academic profile and career plans honestly — we never push a country simply because it is easier for us to process.
What are the basic bank statement and sponsor requirements?
Every country requires proof that your first year's tuition and living costs are covered, usually through bank statements, fixed deposits or a bank solvency certificate. Parents are the most common sponsors and must provide proof of relationship, income sources and a consent letter; some destinations, such as the UK, also require funds to be held untouched for 28 consecutive days. We review your financial documents free of charge before you apply.
Do I definitely need IELTS to study abroad?
Not always. Many of our partner universities accept OIETC, Duolingo, PTE or a Medium of Instruction certificate, and some offer internal English tests. However, IELTS remains the most widely accepted option and strengthens visa applications, so we assess your target country and course first, then recommend the test that saves you the most time and money.
